Student Assist Claims
If you have a travel claim, let us know as soon as possible. You must notify us within 30 days after the occurrence of any event which may give rise to a claim.
How to make a claim
Prepare the relevant supporting documents for your claim. We may contact you for additional documents and information, if those are required
- Original medical bills and receipts.
- Doctor’s memo / medical report / inpatient discharge summary.
- Copy of passport/boarding pass showing date of return to Singapore (for treatment in Singapore).
- Doctor’s memo / medical report / inpatient discharge summary.
- Original invoice.
- Copy of death certificate (where applicable).
- Proof of relationship to insured.
Personal accident benefits (where applicable):
- Death certificate.
- Medical reports, autopsy and toxicology report.
- Police report and findings on the alleged accident.
- Copy of grant of probate or letter of administration.
- Third party details involved in the accident.
- Details of any solicitor you have engaged.
- All correspondence received from any third party or their representatives.
- Acknowledgement receipt on date and time baggage received.
- Boarding pass.
- Property irregularity report.
- Original purchase receipts.
- Compensation letter from carrier.
- Airline letter on the flight delay.
- Boarding pass.
- Police report.
- Original transportations and accommodation receipts in obtaining replacement travel documents.
- Original receipts for replacement / temporary travel documents.
Submit the completed claim form and required documents to us within 30 days after the occurrence of any event which may give rise to a claim.

What to expect
We process most straightforward travel insurance claims within 10 business days if they are submitted with complete documentation. It may take longer to process a claim if we require additional information or documents from you.
