Trip cancellation protection

We will reimburse you if your trip is cancelled due to specific events, starting up to 60 days before your departure date.

Comprehensive coverage

You get up to $2,500,000 for overseas medical expenses under the Premier Plan. For truly comprehensive coverage, in addition to essential benefits such as travel delay and baggage loss , the Premier Plan and Superior Plan also offer special benefits and cover such as unlimited emergency medical evacuation, mobility aid reimbusement, loss of sporting equipment and car rental excess charges.

Travel cancellation due to insolvency

If you bought your travel package or tickets from a travel agent, and your trip is cancelled because the travel agent becomes insolvent, we will cover you up to the specified limit in the selected plan you purchased.

Travel Guard® is for travellers of all ages, with no age limit. There are plans available for individual and families. For the frequent travellers, we strongly recommend the Annual Multi-trip Plan which delivers more value for money protection and convenience.

To be eligible,

  • every person to be insured under the travel Insurance (“Insured Person”) is either a citizen of Singapore/ permanent resident/ have a work pass or permit required under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act/ have a work pass or permit required under the Immigration Act;
  • every Insured Person is residing in Singapore;
  • every Insured Person is medically fit to travel and no Insured Person is travelling to seek medical treatment;
  • every Insured Person to be insured as a “child” under a family plan is an unmarried person not older than (i) 18 years of age or (ii) 23 years of age if he/she is enrolled for full-time study in a recognised institution of learning or higher learning during the policy period; and
  • no Insured Person has been refused travel insurance coverage by any insurer.
